Marco Pontili
I’m a Munich-based Marketing Website Developer with 15 years in tech. I own marketing websites end to end, covering full-stack development, SEO/GEO implementation, and CRO across international markets.
My Career Journey
I started my career as a Frontend Developer in 2013 in Rome, Italy, delivering websites and digital platforms for enterprises, media groups, and SMBs. These years built my foundation: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the ability to turn requirements into working products.
In 2018 I moved to the Netherlands, and in 2019 I joined Spotzer Digital as Client Manager for the Italian market: 100+ white-label SMB marketing sites delivered and 25% fewer revision cycles.
From 2021 to 2023 I worked as Frontend Engineer at Nestlé on the global CIAM program, delivering multilingual registration and consent forms across 20+ markets for Nespresso, Maggi, and Purina.
In 2023 I worked as Technical Project Manager at Lancaster University Leipzig, Germany. I ran the Computer Science pre-bachelor and pre-master courses, standardised delivery across seven lecturers, and increased student satisfaction from 50% to 90%.
In 2026, in Munich, I was Website Owner for parcelLab, owning the marketing site end to end: WordPress, HubSpot, campaign pages, and an AI-assisted Gutenberg workflow from brief to production.
Currently, through my consultancy, Marco Pontili Web, as a Marketing Website Developer I take on select SMB marketing website projects from brief to delivery.
I also serve remotely as Web Lead at ForEveryone Berlin non-profit, leading a 4-person web team on their marketing site and design system.
