The Challenge

Spotzer’s Italian SMB portfolio ran on tight turnarounds across Duda and WordPress, with SEO, copy, design, and development teams working in parallel. I also supported Spotzer’s partnership with Italiaonline on the nationwide “IOL Website” program, helping deliver responsive, SEO-ready sites for Italian businesses to Italiaonline’s quality, SLA, and turnaround standards.

My Role

As Client Manager for the Italian market at Spotzer Digital, I led end-to-end delivery of SMB marketing websites: briefs through build and sign-off under tight turnarounds.

I coordinated SEO, copywriting, design, and development in parallel, and handled the client relationship directly from first requirements to handoff.

What I Did

  • Prepared clear bilingual briefs (EN/IT) for content, creative, and technical teams, and standardised the review workflow around them.
  • Performed CMS updates in Duda and WordPress, including HTML/CSS adjustments when needed.
  • Supported SEO checks and basic code reviews before handoff to clients.
  • Tracked projects in Salesforce and internal workflow tools.

Results

  • Duda and WordPress sites shipped on Spotzer’s production schedule with fewer handoff blockers between SEO, design, and development.
  • Bilingual briefs and structured reviews cut revision cycles by 25% and reduced implementation errors across the Italian SMB portfolio.
  • Client satisfaction reached 95% through clearer communication.
  • IOL Website program deliveries met Italiaonline quality and SLA targets on turnaround.

What I Learned

At this volume, a clear brief in both languages beats fixing misunderstandings in revision rounds. Structured reviews between SEO, design, and development kept SMB sites moving without sacrificing quality.
