My name is Marco Pontili, and I'm a cross-disciplinary Agile Project Manager and Frontend Web Developer with over 10 years of experience and a strong background in client relations and freelancing. I primarily code in HTML, CSS, and client-side JavaScript.
I was born in Italy, near the capital, and I graduated in Industrial Design from Sapienza University of Rome. In 2010 I started to writing code and designing web interfaces, soon transitioning into roles as a Web Designer and Frontend Developer. This journey led to several years of successful freelancing with Italian SMBs, SaaS startups, and software companies.
In 2018, I catched the opportunity to move to the Netherlands working for a Dutch digital marketing company as a Client Relationship Manager. By the end of 2020, I had relocated to Lisbon, Portugal, where I worked for almost 2 years in a corporate role as a Senior Frontend Developer for a Swiss Fortune 500 multinational company.
In recent years, I have specialized in agile project management with a strong focus on IT. In 2023, after relocating to Germany, I soon accepted a new leadership role as a Program Lead in Computer Science for the international campus of Lancaster University in Leipzig.
I thrive in a multi-cultural environment where I enjoy sharing the passion for designing, planning, building, and executing digital projects.
