Accessibility Statement
marcopontili.com is committed to providing an accessible experience to as many users as possible. The goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
The site supports full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator (:focus-visible). “Skip to content” and “Back to start” links improve navigation for keyboard and screen-reader users. User preferences for reduced motion are respected, and the layout remains readable and usable at up to 200% zoom.
Semantic HTML, a clear heading hierarchy, and native landmark elements (such as <main> and <nav>) improve compatibility with assistive technologies. HTML is kept valid in accordance with W3C standards.
Right-to-Left (RTL) language support is handled in two complementary ways. Free-text form inputs use dir="auto", so the browser picks the correct writing direction based on what is typed and mixed Latin and RTL content displays as expected without a manual switch. CSS-only RTL rules also take effect when content is auto-translated by browsers like Google Chrome, improving readability for Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Urdu translations.
Conformance status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some content does not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard (see the known limitations below).
Known limitations
Some areas still fall short. A few smaller gray headings don’t meet the required contrast ratio in either light or dark mode. These issues have been identified and will be fixed in an upcoming update.
If you encounter accessibility barriers or have suggestions, contact: . Include the page URL and, if relevant, the browser or assistive technology you were using.
